I took some photos of two of my favorites the other day. These two have such a bond and it shows in all of the photographs. I have been taking photos of Wyatt since he was born and it is still as much fun today as it was then. I couldn’t think of a more appropriate day to post these!

I was so glad I got to see Abby and Jack again. They are two of the cutest kids on the planet. If there is one thing Jack loves, it is being outside. I love this image of him dreaming of it……..rain and all! As you can see, Abby is one precious baby!

Surfing in Nagshead

I went to an ASF surfing competition over the weekend to see if I could catch some shots of the Secret Spot Surf Shop team riders. I was just about shooting blind with the glare of the sun on the water. The D800 certainly went through the test this weekend and I think I am loving it! These are a few shots of Leanne Robinson and Quenton Turko from Saturday.

Abby and Jack

I went out to meet Abby and see my old buddy Jack yesterday. I photographed Jack when he was a newborn. Abby is a week old and was wide awake up until I was getting ready to leave. I am going to pay Ms. Abby another visit next week and see if I can’t get a few more good ones of her when she is sleeping. Jack was his usual cute self. I love taking pictures of this family.

Kassidy, Rich and Lilly

I shot Kassidy and Rich’s wedding in Jamaica five years ago and was lucky enough to celebrate their fifth anniversary with them in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They are now expecting their second child and this is a photo Kassidy wanted to announce it. I can’t wait to meet the new addition Stella in late August! I am sure you will be seeing more of them in the months to come.

The weather has been great since arriving on Saturday. Looks like another good beach day today. I got up early to catch the sunrise and it didn’t disappoint. I took a ride by Secret Spot Surf Shop to check out how the paint job was coming. The grand reopening is Friday and it should be done by then. It is really looking good.

The Zac Brown concert at the Richmond Colosseum was sold out! It was a fun concert and I got quite a few photos. Good times with good friends. Can’t fail with that combination.

St. Patrick’s Day Wedding

You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for a wedding. Thena and Randal were married at Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Amelia, Va. As you can see from the photos, Thena was a beautiful bride. It was a laid back wedding and no one was in a hurry so we ended up getting some really fun shots before we got to the reception. I must say, that is a photographers dream! Here are a few of my favorites from the day. Congratulations to the couple who are sitting in Aruba on their honeymoon at this point in time. Have fun you guys!!!!
